Greetings, friends.

Just a quick update to tell you that, soon, we will lock down your order for The Sword, The Crown, and The Unspeakable Power. This means that this is your last chance to get any add-ons to SCUP that you might want! You can add other games that we at Wheel Tree Press have put out, including Time Cellist and Greenlight, to your order. Also, if you have outstanding charges with us, those will be collected when we lock down your order.

You can get those add-ons here, if you're a backer, for a few more hours before we hit the button to lock down.

After that, be on the lookout for:

• The SCUP PDF.
• An email asking you to verify your shipping address.
• Updates on getting you printed copies of the book.

Quick SCUPdate: Things Coming Your Way Soon!

Greetings SCUP backers!

Just giving you a very quick update to tell you to be on the lookout for a few things:

• Soon we will ask you to lockdown your information on Backerkit. We are getting ready to start the process of fulfillment and to do that we'll need to have you confirm your email address and shipping address. Look for that email shortly!
• Shortly after that, we will be sending out the PDF of The Sword, The Crown, and The Unspeakable Power. If you backed at a level that receives the PDF, keep an eye out soon for that to be delivered to you.
• Finally, after that, we will be sending SCUP to the printers. That will obviously take a bit of time, but we will keep you updated on that process, for those of you who have a print book coming your way. 

So keep your eyes peeled for information, questions, and rewards in your inbox in the near future!

Happy Holidays! 

So things are progressing nicely here at camp SCUP. The art is just about 100% done, the book is being laid out, and we're happy with how everything is coming together. I want to share two things with you, today, as an update on the progress.

Layout Preview!

First off, here's a picture of what the first page of the book will look like all decked out by Nathan Paoletta:

 We think it looks pretty cool, and we're stoked for everyone to see the whole book!

Character Sheet Bonanza!

More importantly, we're going to go ahead and drop the entirety of the laid out character sheets. As we progress towards the completed book being ready to head out into the world, we thought we'd give everyone a taste of what all the character classes will look like.

Survey all beneath you with... THE CROWN

QUICK UPDATE TODAY, FOLKS!

I'm at a work conference so I don't have too much time to post, but I wanted to make sure we kept on schedule releasing the playbooks, so we present... The Crown!

The Crown is a ruler, holding dominion over a Stead. If you play The Crown, you'll get to design the Stead you rule, command your army in battle, and lord over your followers and subjects with impunity. If you're playing SCUP to crush your enemies (and maybe a few friends) beneath your feet, this might be the playbook for you.

Embrace your dark side with... The Screw!

Hi folks! SCUPdate time!

First, some housecleaning. We're going to start sending out Backerkit surveys for you to fill out. When you get them, you can give us your email address, address, etc., so we can get you the game when it's done. Also, let us know if you'd like to do any add-ons of other Wheel Tree Press products to your SCUP order. Look for that soon!

Second, the reason you're here, behold... THE SCREW!

Let's get something out of the way: The Screw needs a big ol' content warning on it. This is a rough playbook. The Screw's stock and trade is torturing people to get valuable information. We have a whole section in the book about how to handle The Screw in play to make sure everyone feels safe at the table. Some folks might not want The Screw at the table at all, and that's totally cool! Some folks might want to make sure all The Screw's most unsavory activity takes place off camera (that's how I run The Screw when I MC SCUP!). But do be aware that this is a mean playbook that makes for a mean game going in.

Having said that, even though I personally am squicked out by blood, The Screw is one of my favorite classes in SCUP. In our very first game of SCUP ever, I played The Screw and had a blast. Their job is to ensure that those in power have a steady stream of valuable information coming their way, and that means they make for a game packed with intrigue and secrets. And that's why you're playing SCUP, right?  

So, embrace your dark side with The Screw!
